Workshop sizes are small to provide individualized attention to every student. Winter classes begin soon!!! Please register by February 20th. Registrations past this date accepted if space allows. New classes begin February 28, 2012.

The Art Club 4 Teens - Every Friday Night 6 to 9 PM

Kids ages 11 to 16 have discovered a great way to get out on Friday nights, hang out with friends, do a variety of amazing art projects with dynamic teachers, and eat pizza. It is called the Art Club 4 Teens. Classes include clay sculpture, silk painting, printmaking and silk-screening to make your own t-shirts, drawing, graphic design and painting, and multimedia collage. Payment accepted at class time or in advance.

When: Every Friday evening, 6 to 9 p.m.

Fee: $30 (includes materials and pizza)

Independent Study with 24/7 Studio Access

Join us for independent study at our fantastic studios at 5 Mathews Avenue in Riverdale. Located in a historic brick factory, the newly renovated studios and warehouse are fully equipped for ceramic arts, painting, printmaking and sculpture. The fee is $100/month for 24/7 access. Art storage space available and exhibit your work in our newly renovated warehouse!! For more information and to set up a tour of our facilities, please see contact info below. Beginning in early 2012, Studio Members can exhibit in two special shows per year at our new art gallery, Salon No. 5 at 5 Mathews Avenue in Riverdale.

WINTER 2012 ART CLASSES

Unleash Your Creative Energy

Join us for a series of art classes for adults ages 18 and older. Each week features a different artistic activity to help you release your hidden creative talents!

Instructors: Feb. 28: Carol Mainardi – Printmaking; March 6: Mindy Casey – Mixed media Collage; March 13: Linda Dumoff – Process Art and Yoga; March 20: Adam Schechter – Painting, Drawing and Ceramic Sculpture; March 27: Ritika Gandhi – Silk Painting; April 3: Melinda DeBell — Drawing and graphic design.

When: Tues. mornings, 10 am to 12 pm. CLASS BEGINS Feb. 28 and runs through April 3.

Computer Arts

Want to get a great introduction to computer arts? Learn how to build your own website? Make an i-movie? Create an online art portfolio? Deon Koekemoer, a graduate of the Art Department of William Paterson University and an experienced computer arts instructor at County College of Morris, will help you gain mastery over your computer skills and apply them in a variety of different projects. Bring your own laptop to class.
