The RAC is pleased to announce a new category of membership called “Exhibiting Artist,” and it costs $100 per year to join. What are the benefits of joining The RAC as an exhibiting artist? In addition to becoming a part of our growing community of artists and supporting local art, Exhibiting Artist Membership enables you to:

EXHIBIT & SELL YOUR ART: Exhibit and sell your artwork in our Salon No. 5 Gallery at $250 per week. Show on your own or with other artist-members.

BENEFIT FROM RAC MARKETING SUPPORT: We will promote your show through Constant Contact, our web site, and send out regular press releases to help generate attendance and sales at exhibitions.

HAVE YOUR PORTFOLIO ONLINE: Through our website at www.riverdaleartcenter.org, we offer exhibiting artists an online portfolio of two images of your work, a brief artist’s statement, and links to your web site (if available).

In our new Salon No. 5 Gallery, the Pequannock Valley Rotary (PVR) and The Riverdale Art Center (RAC) presented: A Photo Gallery,a juried photography exhibition and contest held jointly on March 2, 3, and 4th.  The exhibition was held at the RAC’s new art gallery, Salon No. 5 (pictured above), at 5 Mathews Ave in Riverdale. A total of 38 works of art were purchased by the public and some 250 people attended the first opening at Salon No. 5, located in a renovated factory warehouse. Thanks to all of our volunteers for helping us make this new gallery a great success!!
